The F21GM does not come with it's own battery and antenna, but either of the included antennas and batteries can be used. If using with BC-146, be sure to insert one of the plastic inserts into the charger so the radio will fit.
The F40GTs are tested to MIL-SPEC standards. They can handle whatever you can throw at them!

I'm also including a copy of Icom Service Bulletin 931 - It seems that when Icom printed the label for the programming software CD they left out a part of the serial number. This service bulletin describes the missing piece and tells you how to enter the serial number into the software installer.
ISSUES - PLEASE READ:
- The screws on the accessory port covers are beginning to wear.
- The antenna on the radio on the right of the picture had a crack in it, which has been covered with black electrical tape. This does not affect the operation of the radio at all.
