just updateing my scanners and i have many. The one i have in my bedroom was made 07/05 and is a radio shack 2096 base model. it is in perfect condition as when it came out of the box. I can guarantee that to the buyer or you'r money back.. this scanner is still under warrenty until september,2006 and comes with a receipt. most of you nice people on this site know me as the scanner salesman becuase i sell new in a box scanners and do very well at it. however this is your chance to get a perfect 2096 for 400.00 plus 10.00 overnight shipping if you like to have it the next day. please feel free to make me an offer however it must be close to asking as i know they sell at radio shack for 499.00 plus 35.00 tax. I take paypal or cashiers check .

John is "Grade A!" If you want a great scanner, at a great price, from a very trust worthy guy, then this is the deal for you! I know it sounds like a sales pitch, but John is great to deal with and will definitely not do you wrong...I have sent many people to him and all have been very satisfied!
