Default FOR SALE: 2 Motorola Astro Saber Apco P25 Digital 403-470 DVP-XL/DES-OFB Encryption

Items for sale:
- 2 (Two) Motorola Astro Saber UHF APCO-25 Digital radios with DVP-XL/DES-OFB Encryption Modules
- 2 (Two) Chargers - One made by Motorola, One by Powertron
- 2 (Two) UHF Antennas for Astro Sabers
- 2 (Two) Abell 2700mAh Batteries for Astro Sabers
- 2 (Two) Speaker Microphones - One made by Motorola, One aftermarket
-
2 (Two) Belt Clips for Astro Sabers

I am asking $850 or best offer for all equipment listed above.
The sale price is negotiable.

The radios are in the UHF band from 403-470 Mhz.
I believe they have 4 - 5 watt power settings.
Both of the radios have been tested and are in perfect working condition.
They are fully programmable and are guaranteed working, and to not be DOA.

The radios both have Motorola DVP-XL/DES-OFB Encryption Modules installed - Model Number NTN8967A.

The flash code on both radios break down to the following features:

140001-000000-3 :
Q806/G806 IMBE / APCO-25 Digital Operation
H868/W969 Multikey Operation
H35/G48 Conventional Operation

The radios are currently programmed with working conventional channels, in both digital and analog modes.
At this time, both radios are capable of communicating with each other on UHF frequencies.
I do not believe any encrypted channels or settings are currently programmed.

All equipment is in good condition.
Both radios have numbers written on them, and small engravings on the back.
One radio has obstructed information plates, as seen in the photos.

Neither radios currently have keypads or screens, but I believe they are easily upgradeable with fairly inexpensive hardware available on eBay.
Underneath the shell, the interior case already has connections and areas for the addition hardware.

Both radios have the same FCC ID and Model Number, and partial Serial Number as listed below:
FCC ID: AZ489FT4782
Model Number: H04RDC9PW5AN-UCM
Serial Number: 465AAQ01XX

The Motorola Battery Charger included is model NTN4734A.
The Abell Batteries included are model AT-NTN4592.
The Motorola Speaker Mic included is model NMN6217B.
I do not have the model numbers for the aftermarket battery charger or speaker mic included.

The value of the items listed in this auction could easily exceed $1000 in their current conditions.
I believe the radios were originally sold for over $2000 each.
The encryption modules alone are currently worth a few hundred.
The Motorola speaker mic is worth over $50 in the near new condition it's in.
The Motorola battery charger could easily be worth over $50 also in its like new condition.
Even at the current "Buy It Now" price, this auction is an amazing bargain.

The reserve is set reasonably low.
I am low on funds currently, and I am not using these radios enough to keep them.
They work great, and I hate to part with them..

Both batteries take and hold a charge.
All equipment is guaranteed to not be DOA.
All sales are final.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
If you wish, you may leave a message at 1-641-654-2374 and I will call you back, or you may email me at

These items are listed on eBay also, so they could be removed if no offers are accepted within a week or so.
