Sounds great. I would say turn down one of the audio settings just a bit, can hear not really a hum, but background noise. Unless it's the radio causing that sound itself, other then that, nice and clear audio.

What about adding in Arrivals/Departure Frequencies too?
124.47500 Arrivals
125.40000 Arrivals
132.80000 Arrivals
127.57500 Departures
128.80000 Departures
Given the height of your antenna perhaps Unicom Frequencies and/or 121.5 Emergency.

I am still trying to figure out what that background noise is......It is not coming from the scanner, and there is no adjustment that I can see in the broadcasting software radioreference provides. I have heard other audio streams with the same dead background noise. It may just be the nature of how things work and its "web noise"
I can put all those frequencies in by the way..but then you will miss alot of conversation. Sometimes I will just switch them up....

So apparently the hum on my audio feed is the "60Hz hum" from the transformer in my scanner.......There are a few ways around it. Get a dedicated Power supply, and apparently the audio cable has to be "mono" instead of "stereo" I will check that out this evening as I am at work now.
Cheers,

In the interest of clarification, and only because some listeners may be confused, there is only one control tower.
Within that single control tower (the one in the middle of the field), air control is divided into two positions, north and south, and ground control can itself divide into three different positions (three different frequencies) when traffic warrants. Clearance delivery is another position again.
As for the “hum” on the line, you don’t actually need to get a mono cable, you just need a jack that converts a stereo cable to mono. You plug the male (mono) plug into the scanner’s headphone output, if that is indeed the cause of the hum.
Make sure you use the “line in” connection on your audio card/ usb audio device, and not the “mic” connection. Found that got rid of a slight hum I had to deal with.
Good luck.

Thanks for the clarification Lexxx, I updated my feed info page to be much more precise with an explanation of both frequencies.

The only problem I noticed with it last night, after you posted and before anyone had replied, was a bit of overmodulation or loudness - but it was only on the one female controller who appeared (sounded?) like she was eating her mic. If you turn it down though, it would make the quieter flights inaudible.

Sounds much better now. No more noise in the background now. Listening from the cell phone.

133.4 is part of the "Airports" specialty in the IFR control center, not the control tower. That specialty also uses 119.3 at Toronto plus frequencies at YKF, YXU and YZR. The RR database doesn't seem to list any of the IFR fequencies. www.canairradio.com is complete, very complete.
Also, and I've posted this previously, the UHF frequencies listed on RR are GONE. We shut them down probably 2 years ago now.

Hi Bob, I'd like to update the YYZ page ASAP. There also is a CZYZ agency page that is probably a little dusty as well. Toronto (CZYZ) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
Private message or e-mail me with some suggestions for a proper YYZ page layout with correct descriptions.

Will do. I didn't go looking for a separate page for ZYZ but now that I see it you're right, it needs work.
