Nightmare Six Five
Some sort of military aircraft just flew over Richmond Hill on approach and landing to runway 23 at Pearson. It was using call sign Nightmare Six Five. Anyone know where it's from and exactly what kind of jet it is?

May have answered my own question. Seems it is a CF-18 from 409 squadron out of Cold Lake, AB.

It was difficult not to hear it. It flew right over my place with such a massive roar, unlike any of the commercial jets that fly over a hundred times a day. The difficult part was in switching one scanner over to the Arrivals frequency and another over to the north Tower fast enough to catch the callsign!

"NIGHTMARE 65" ...... I love military aircraft callsigns. Good catch!!
There was a Hawk trainer that flew into Windsor last weekend, callsign was "Dragon 62".
