who am I listening to?

Okay some days I will hear a group of guys on a TG (not going to which one for officer safety reasons (if you know then you know, you should be able to infer what system from the rest of the post). Most of the time they are Enc., Well, at least one is but the other 2 or 3 are in the clear. Now, there is no dispatcher and they are not conservative with their speech.

They seem to have a file on a certain persons and have intel on where they might be. They make a plan on where to meet then the radio goes silent for an hour or so. They are usually in different cities making arrests in the province and delivering them to the local PD (haha, this is good listening sometimes, not going to say more ). .... Who is this?? OPP? inter jurisdictional? ROPE??

If you have the TG shouldn't you know who is talking?

Not necessarily, Just because TG are listed on the DB doesn't mean 100% they will be used for that purpose and who would know especially if they are ENC 99% of the time É . Hence why I am asking the question.

Before you make a snide PM... Maybe you should know that I as being from the states also have family in the GTA. My grandparents are in Hamilton and have many family members who I see at least 3-5 times a year when I visit. Two members of my family are in Law enforcement with one being OPP and the other the upper ranks of Toronto police. When I do go up ther I monitor the radio there too. So I may have a little backround in what I am listening to and for also.

If this guy is so worried about these comms Not being encrypted..WHY does he even bother having a scanner?

Its good to be see some of the newer members here slam those who speak when they should think, most of us old guys dont care anymore about whats going on here.

And making fun of Americans, lol, real tactful.

Mentioning CISO, where they are what they say is like waking up a bear and being right in its face, something bad will probably happen,

WOW! lol, the attention span of some people on this board. WHERE, I repeat, WHERE did I mention ANYTHING about CISO?? Where did I mention anything about specifics of location?? I didn't even mention what Radio system they were on. That was for you to infer.

Why do we even give this guy UNUSUALTECH the attention he's trying to get.. especially after his rude PM he sent regarding our american contributors to our forums.
All he is doing is hurting our hobby and insulting our members..if we can't remove him from here.. why don't we just ignore every post he puts on here asking us for help/info?
That way he is just talking to himself?
