I don't agree that it's useless info...anyone reading may remember this next
time a trunked CC is "found" in the 902-928 band. It's a most unlikely place as
it's radiolocation "primary", amateur radio "secondary" and an ISM band full of
unlicensed cordless phones, baby monitors, wireless intercoms, low-power HTs,
hydro-electric metering etc.
Consumer scanners can't be expected to behave as well as purpose-built
"real" radios, and the OP isn't the only one owning one. I recall finding a Moto
CC around 33MHz on my old BC235 which is also triple conversion. Wow, neat,
I thought, low-band trunking, this is novel; then realized it was an image.
Example: BC396XLT has 1st IF at ~380Mhz or ~265MHz depending on band.
Let's see, 2x380 + 142 = 902 (close), which might be a clue, depending on the
actual scanner.

Totally OT: anyone seen the YouTube video for "Sitting on the Moon" (Enigma);
amazing,the music alone is worth it (two with ~290k and ~37k views)
