Default Pro-164

Quick question, brother is moving back from Texas to Barrie, has a Pro-164, will it pickup OPP,FIRE, ETC .

Looks like it will, but want to be sure. Cheaper to buy a new scanner in the US, than buy it here if he needs to.

From what I am understanding on the specs on the radio that the radio will do the fleetnet system that opp and ems mto roads and enforcement however the pro 164 is analog it will not pick up opp and mto enforcement because opp and mto are using digital mode

I had some problems with a Pro-164 due to its frequency step sizes. Was able to get it working on Fleetnet Zone 2 with some tweeking ie. moving a frequency up a notch.
Worked fine on conventional channels even though it was off a touch on some of the ones I monitored.
As mentioned earlier its analogue only so OPP's out.
