Default Expert local help!

Hey Every one!
I am the proud owner for a PSR 500 Scanner!
I got into the hobby of listening by my buddy who has a uniden.
I tried to program my radio by my self with no luck. the only stuff i can hear is some Toronto police and the occasional airplane calls.
I downloaded the software WIn500, but cant really under stand how to design a trunking talk group.
So i went down to radio world on steels Ave, and after a short chat, the fellow looked at my radio and said " we cant program this" and that was all!.
I was wondering if any one from around central Ontario has a PSR 500 or has experience that would be able to assist me in making my radio work!,
There are time i just want to sell it but, i have the thought in my head.. WHY when i know it works its just my issue!

If there is any one who can assist me let me know! i will be more then grateful and can compensate and drive where ever!
Regards
Taylor-

Welcome aboard! You should really enjoy your PSR-500, it's a great radio (I have it's Radio Shack cousin, the Pro-106). Personally I like the PSREdit software, but Win500 is a nice piece too. If you want, grab PSREdit (it comes with a 30 day trial) and I can send you the file I have for the Toronto area... That might get you pointed in the right direction.

Thanks Forts.
I have the WIN500 program I ended up Buying it because i thought the "trial" would limit some applications.

I would be very appreciated if you sent a file i can use, is this file meant for PSR edit or WIN500?
