Default Ornge Air Ambulance

Hey,

I’m in the Kitchener area and looking for every possible frequency for the Air Ambulance that they might be using in this part of Ontario.

I've gone through most of the posts I can find here, and have come up with 150.10, 413.6875 and 129.2750.

I realize they talk to air traffic control at times, but I don't need those ones.

Anybody think of any others that might be possible?

Thanks,
Peter

What you see is what you get pretty much. Those are the 3 main ones to plug in. Especially the first 2.

You've pretty much have them all.

Might want to add 418.6875 Mhz if you're not in range of a ground repeater.

Ok thanks Mike. I'll add 418.6875 Mhz.

I've heard a few clear transmissions today on 129.275.

I've also had several unintelligible annoying blasts on 150.1. Do we know where 150.1 is used? Is this a Toronto area based frequency, or a frequency used further east in ontario?

I do stream these frequencies, so don't really want what sounds like a squelch break every now and again going off in the stream.

Thanks again
Peter

I have heard them recently on 150.1 but most of the time I hear them on 129.275, I don't hear them use UHF at all anymore.

What kind of comms are you hoping to hear? Actual "dispatches" are done via sat phone these days.

Mike....Thanks

exkalibur....Just looking for anything and everything related to the Life Flight helicopters. Nothing specific. If much of the communications are done by phone, so be it. Just trying to populate an EMS streamed feed with as much relevent infomation as possible.

Cheers
Peter

Well, what you WILL hear on 150.100 (at least around Toronto) is the chopper calling ambulance crews for updates, and updating the dispatchers with their ETA and such.
