when i had a CB in the car a few years back all i would hear around GTA was mostly East Indians in some language i couldn't understand. But again you had to be almost on the hwy to hear anything. But 19 is popular.. Its not as popular as the cell phone now a days..

I hear lots of chatter on 19 from the truckers on Highway 11 in Simcoe County.

I think the best way to find out is just to simply keep turning the dial until you hear someone that sounds local to ya

Default CB Channels in the GTA

Thanks idle I've have attached my Cobra to my file organizer thing (can't remember the exact name) and I seem to pulling in some signals on 19, but most are static.

I can't tell if I'm pulling in a lot of skip on this channel, but 6 is a skip channel and seems to be very active, lots of drivers are walking over each other.

Anyone have any suggestions on a good location for mounting this inside?
