Droid help

Hello all you geniuses out there.

I have a Droid and one of the apps I have installed is a scanner. Unfortunately, it has never heard of Newport, Oregon, or the Lincoln County Sheriff's office. I have a list of 15 frequencies for police and fire agencies in this coastal area.

Can anyone out there tell me what to do so that my Droid app will pick up those 15 frequencies.

Please try to keep replies simple, specific and step-by-step since I'm just starting the Droid learning curve.

You will need an actual radio scanner / receiver, not a smartphone with a so-called "scanner" app installed. Those apps are just providing access to live streaming feeds from radios that users have connected to the internet.

It looks like only a Lincoln City Police feed is available in your county. Lincoln County, Oregon (OR) Live Police, Fire, and EMS Scanners on RadioReference.com
