Ahaha...I was just about to PM you guys about this!

I'm hearing (I think) Mac Law on 453.3625...I've never heard anything from the old MPT-1327 system from my neck of the woods.

Good news story and glad to hear that they have a radio system that works for them.

Only problem.. no one else in the valley uses UHF besides them! (except Woodburn FD and Salem PD) Kind of sucks when Polk/Dallas FD and Salem FD/ RMA Medics go on mutual aid calls into Yamhill County and can't communicate with them.

They're working on patching for 800MHz, so I'm sure they'll add something for VHF.

Will the patch to 800 be "as needed", or do you know if they plan on setting aside some TGs?

How about that! I just happened to have logged both of them today and was just about to search the ULS to see what they were.

Yeah, they haven't changed any of the licenses for awhile, they just reassigned the old freqs. If you go through all of the licenses: the county literally has current grants for a hundred different freqs, some in use, and some not.

They have had this patch for a while at the Newberg Dispatch to County Fire. Has not been used lately though as the units have some 800 portables that mutual aid often. All Newberg units have county radios so patching when they move their way will not happen.

I was referring to the console patch that YCOM will have for patching to WCCCA.
