Default Update DB Info

Hey everyone,

We are seeking new and/or updated information for the Oregon database. What we are asking is that you look at the Oregon database for your area (and others if you wish) and verify what is there, and also, if you notice anything that is missing. New found frequencies, TGIDs, and systems may be posted in this thread as well.

Post you findings here in this thread so we can cross reference it before a submission is made to make a change in the database. You need only post changes or additions. Be sure to identify the County, City, Agency, TRS, etc. This is only for Oregon systems.

Other things of interest are welcome, as well; such as news, maps, radio codes, diagrams, links, extended explanations of channels/TGIDs and system data, history or technical data on agency or agency's radio system, something you always wish was there but isn’t, etc.

Don’t hold back - if you think it might help or add to the database, then submit it here.

The goal is to make the Oregon database the best database available, in any media form (print, digital, etc.).

Thank you from your Oregon Database Admins/Moderators and RadioReference.com.

This is a reprint of a sticky in the California forum and I thought it would be a good fit here.

Default Boo-boo

I don't know if this is the appropriate place, but...

The new info on the Yamhill Co Database page at
Yamhill County, Oregon (OR) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
has an error on the description for the new Mac PD freq:

453.36250 District 2B West Police Dispatch

The license for both is WQHK565 and 460.2625 is not a fire tac frequency, it's dispatch.

Could you please change the service tag from "EMS Talk" to "EMS Dispatch" for 153.350 Bay Cities Ambulance Scott Mtn in the Douglas County page.

This was discussed in a thread back in 2010, but could you add a tab for Oregon State Parks on the State of Oregon Radio Reference page?

159.225, 159.240, 159.375, 159.390

Fort Stevens State Park
159.3900 PL 131.8 (Primary)
159.225

Default Polk County

For the Polk County Database, I'd like to have it changed to this:

Polk County Law Enforcement >

155.2500 110.9 PCSO Main
154.8750 110.9 PCSO Ops
155.0325 110.9 PCSO West
154.0250 110.9 PCSO Tac

Polk County Fire >

151.2650 110.9 Central 1
154.2350 110.9 West 2
153.7400 110.9 West 3
154.4450 CSQ West 4
155.3400 CSQ EMS MedNet

Polk County Roads >

153.9800 82.5 Polk Roads

All the licenses are correct the way they are. Thanks!!

Great thread idea!

-In Railroads Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference Amtrak Portland Station Ops is a megahertz too high (there can be some interesting stuff on this channel)

-Right above that entry, it should not be "Amtrack"

- LLYODS Shopping Center
just double-checked it's 464.575 CT 110.9, there's also a mostly-Spanish housekeeping channel

- Rose Quarter Frequencies?
not sure about this, but the Rose Garden/Memorial Coliseum and maybe the convention center would be good additions

- Portland-Vancouver Metro Area Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
believe this one works

-might figure out the various taxicab ones; think 452.225 is Radio Cab dispatchers

-Office Depot at SW 6th and Alder uses either the Red Dot or Red Star frequency; see Common Itinerant and Business - The RadioReference Wiki
