Default Radio Tests EOC1 CMD Portland

Today 12-17-12 between 1:00PM and 3:00PM
Radio tests coordinated on TG 28976 listed as
EOC 01 CMD in the RR database.

Referred to as ECC 1

Two mobiles/portables testing from Fire Stations
around Portland. Not fire personnel as I could tell.

The channels they tested on were as follows:

ECC 01 on the 800
VTAC13
UHF-1 (maybe one of the 460.xxx MHz still licensed??)
SW-30 (??)
SW-31 (??)
SW-32 (??)

I was mobile and couldn't search around for the unknowns.

An FYI for those who might wish to listen.

If you're out there Dick, maybe you know something about this.

Default update

Correction:

The SW-xx designations are locations, not channels.

The feel better postcard from the city.

Now that I think about it further, that's probably what they're up to, since
the testers also mentioned "good amateur radio sites". But that's about it.

They agreed with each other to be back on the road
tomorrow 12-17-12 for more radio tests.

Between a long, drawn-out cold and moving, I've been out of touch for a couple of weeks.
Each fire station has a Ham antenna on the roof with a co-ax connector in the station so they can connect a Ham rig.. I think they test on some Saturdays. Perhaps that's related.
