Soon, both ALL fire agencies will be dispatching off the Lincoln County FIRE-1 channel.

Do you have the frequency info for the new Fire 1?

Sorry for the delay yes DCS is 263. Again Toledo and Lincoln City Fire (aka North LIncoln Fire/Rescue) are not on the new Lincoln County Fire - 1 yet, but will be soon. Very cool to hear County Fire 1 and 2 from over in the Willamette Valley area.

Default Unit Numbering Schemes

Now that the new frequency/channel arrangement has been identified, does anyone have info to complete what I have in my notes as to unit numbering in the county? From my vacation trips down there in past years, I had made the following notes:

Law:
2xx units: Newport PD
5xx units: Lincoln City PD
6xx units: Lincoln County SO

I'm thinking that there are a couple of other police agencies in the county, perhaps Yachats and Toledo. Any idea what the numbering scheme is for them and if the above are accurate?

Fire:
North Lincoln Fire & Rescue--
1200 units: Rose Lodge station
1300 units: Otis station
1400 units: Main station in Lincoln City
1500 units: DeLake station
1600 units: Taft station
1700 units: Kernville station

Depoe Bay Fire District--
2200 units: Gleneden Beach station
2300 units: Depoe Bay main station
2400 units: Otter Rock station

Newport Fire Department--
3200 units: Newport main station
3300 units: South Beach station

Siletz Valley Fire District--
5200 units: Siletz station

Central Coast Fire & Rescue--
7200 units: Waldport main station

Yachats Fire District--
8200 units: Yachats main station

I don't see anything in my notes for Toledo but surely there must be a fire department. Again, any corrections to the unit numbering as it is somewhat dated and anything else to fill in for missing numbering? I also had a note of unit numbering in the 7800 and also 8100 series but didn't have anything shown to identify the agencies let alone know for sure that those are the correct numbers. Even older notes have unit numbering in the two-digit series.

Pacific West Ambulance--
Medic 501: Newport
Medic 511: Lincoln City
Medic 514: Depoe Bay

Since this is a popular vacation area for many of us up north, it would be nice to have a more complete listing to complement the frequency/channel listing that has evolved in this thread over the past couple of years. Thanks in advance for any corrections or additions that can be made.

As far as I know, there are only three city police departments in Lincoln County: Newport, Lincoln City, and Toledo. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office patrols the rest of the county including Waldport and Yachats.

Toledo Fire is 4000 series units. Pac West Ambulance is 500 series units. 501 Newport , 503 Toledo , 511 Lincoln CIty, and 514 Depoe Bay. 505 is a hospital transfer unit. OTHER 500 cars could be overlap crews./ temporary/ special event cars.

The transfer car is operating out of LC for the summer and is designated 515. It is essentially the same as the 505 we had been hearing since January as a transfer car, but was moved to LC to help out with the increased 911 calls during the summer. It should head back to Newport after summer is over and resume operations as 505. Currently 512 is a special event/emergency staffing medic in LC, and 505 and 507 are the special event/emergency staffing units out of Newport.

So for Law Enforcement, is there a clearer list? I'm trying to setup the scanner for a trip to Lincoln City this weekend and I see between the DB and this thread there is conflicting information for LE.

And thanks for the fire information
