Good to see one from our area. I've been checking it out to see if your low band reception is better than mine. I'm in a dead spot in Somerset.

Smile Low Band etc

I have two antennas available for this radio. A low band dipole and multiband discone. The antennas are limited as they are mounted in a attic space. The dipole is working better on low band and the discone is working better on the VHF. My main scanner is connected to a chimney mount and I can receive excellent coverage with it on all bands. However I'm not live streaming it as I'm always monitoring something different and it would not be a consistant feed. I'm looking to buy a vintage Electra bc300 to take over for the feed. Those scanners were hand built for the low band and VHF band. Not like the apco 25 digital, trunked and 800mhz scanners of today. I see your profile pic is one of my former scanners. I still have it if you need parts.

I'll keep that in mind about the old RCA. The old beast works like brand new. I live in an apartment, so my antenna choices are limited. But I make do with what I got.
