Default Blair County programming help

Have a GRE PSR-500 on the way. Scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Have downloaded the 30 day trial copies of the following software: WIN500, ARC500 and PSREdit500. Played with them most of the day yesterday. When I tried to import the freq files from RR, their was nothing for Blair County - Guess it is too new. Did download the CSV file. I did import the file into ARC500 and made a new file of the freqs I want to listen to.
Could not import the CSV file into the other two programs.

Here are my questions:
1. Is the new system a trunking system or is it conventional but digital.
2. How do I either use ARC500 or manually program the scanner ( I have not problem trying
to manually doing it).
3. By chance has anyone made a file of Blair freqs for one of these program that could
send it to me

Many thanks in advance for all replies

The new info is there, and should have downloaded. Maybe you went into the trunking systems sections. It is conventional P-25. I would try to import again, but select conventional.

I don't have a PRS500, but the basic answer is however you program conventional frequencies, you do it the same way, For Unidens, you have to change the audio from analog to digital for each P-25 freq, but I did not find that option in ARC500, so it may auto detect P-25.
Here's a guide: http://wiki.radioreference.com/index...500_User_Guide

CaptClint,
Thanks for the info. I thought I had tried conventional, but apparently I didn't as I went into ARC500 and imported what I wanted. Saved the file and now I am ready to upload to scanner when I get it tomorrow!!
