Neither will track the Bucks County digital trunked radio system. In order to monitor them, you need one of the following:

Pro-96
Pro-106
Pro-197
Pro-2096
BCD-396T
BCD-396XT
BCD-996T
BCD-996XT
PSR-800

Once they switch to the new 700MHz P25, the PSR-800 will be the only one that will pick them up

Absolutely no idea. I know they post announcements on the County's website in the communications division regarding updates, you might want to check there.

As Dan says, no ideal however I suspect it will be in the next 12 months for several reasons mostly the activity on the countys site getting everyone up to date with new equipment., read here, Emergency Communications -- Radio Project
and here, Motorola Solutions Media Center - Press Releases - Motorola Solutions Awarded $37.2 Million Contract from Bucks County, Pennsylvania for ASTRO® 25 Interoperable Communications System
Sure hope we have a new radio from uniden that will cover the 700mh P25 system soon.I'm not in love with the PSR800.

Just read the Jan10, 2013 update on the countys site that says acceptance testing is scheduled for 9/2014, cutover 12/2014 so it looks like we have a little under two years remaining with the current radios.

The Pro-18 is a scaled down version of the PSR-800, but is NOT capable of decoding phase 2. It also does not have a recording feature, among the host of stripped features.
