At least in Erie Co PennDot seems to be operational. On 9/14 I recorded 147 transmissions for PGC and PennDot TGs in 12 hours.

Just for clarification, the RR page shows confirmation of PennDOT only for Warren and Crawford Counties. Does this need to be updated to show talkgroups for Erie County?

We need locals to confirm the talk group usage. At a minimum, peg a talk group to a PennDOT office. Shouldn't be too hard. I know when I have listened I have heard roadway names and location names that made it feasible to ID 11715. Or, we need somebody with access to PennDOT info to submit it to the database.

I have only heard them rarely on 11715 from here in Millcreek. I will be listening more often now, since the new Erie County P25 will be testing soon too.

Just to make sure my 436 is set up right, what Service Types need to be turned on to receive the Game Commission and PennDOT? I do receive them, but nowhere near your high numbers. Are the Service Types turned on automatically?

Pendot would be public works. Transportation is for county or city operated transit services like bus, ect.

I'll have to go into Sentinel and see what I set up. I don't think I entered any service types. Right now in the 436 I only have law dispatch and public works as choices to turn on and off. If I have ID Scan on, does it matter what service types are turned on?

I also see in the database that some of the GC talkgroups are "Law Talk".

I meant ID Search, not ID scan.

Yep the PAGC officers are law enforcement, so they are under the law type tags.

Also to find new groups you need to be monitoring the system from a favorite list and not full database. Full database will not do ID search.
