I'll start listening and let you know. Probably buses.

On a related note: I am trying to find freqs for Wallenpaupack Area Schools, but having no luck with FCC database searches or general web searches. License city should be Hawley.

In many cases, schools use frequencies owned by Radio Services. Conway has many of them in various counties. Here are two possibilities for Pike:
http://www.radioreference.com/module...fcc&cs=WPMW695
http://www.radioreference.com/module...fcc&cs=WNJI477
While these are trunked systems, you can quickly determine is any of the frequencies are being used by listening from 7A-10A, and 2P-4P(You will here other traffic, but school bus traffic tends to dominate at these times) by programing all of the "FB6" freq's. as conventional (same way you program all the other freq's in your area).

If you can determine the type of antenna used, it will help narrow the search. Typically UHF are either 6" or 12 with loading coil in the middle. VHF are usually 18"

Default Pocono Schools

I believe the Pocono School district has a LTR system in operation. Not positive of all the frequencies but try:

463.8875R

This has other users on the frequency but can't pick-up too good in the Lehigh Valley..
The FCC licensed frequencies sound like they could be for School operations & maintenance etc.. In Allentown, Reading & Bethlehem every school within the district operates a "Private" frequency for operations within that building.

I will try and track down other LTR freqs but not always lucky..

Steve
