May I recomend buying a PSR or RS model while they are so cheap. Programming is ten times easier.

As far as making a file, I do not have the capabilities as I use all GRE products. Good luck,.

Thanks for offering nothing but a sales pitch. My question was about a RS issue. If you have no contribution, don't type.

There is no need to be rude. And noones trying to sellvyou anything. You think i see a cent from anything you may or may not buy? No.

This is a positive community about helping others. Someone may find my response helpful. Buying a new model WOULD make your programming easier on tthis system.

No need to be an arrogant pos. Good luck with your problem s.

What help did you offer? None.

What was rude was you responding with worthless drivel and wasting my time. Your need to be validated by posting a completely irrelevant response hoping for a virtual pat on the back is laughable. Don't like my tone? Then learn when not to type. If you have no guidance on my particular problem then STFU. It is a more important piece of netiquette than your perception of my arrogance.

Hose,
This is what I have entered in my PRO-96. Base-468.825 Offset-8192 Step 12.5 Control channels programmed in and set to "TABLE" in CC Mode. I may be in your general area Friday and could maybe meet somewhere if you want. I will tell you that I am by no means an expert but would be willing to look at your scanner and set up those settings . I know what its like with the frustration I had the NJSP systen set up in my 96 and was working on re-doing the V-folder and now it's not working................Let me know. A PM is welcome.................Good luck.

Ran it through the P96 software and miraculously I am receiving the whole system. Set it up for a bank for County Fire, one for HFD, one for HPD and an EMS bank. Forgot to remove encrypted TG so I am doing a lot of pressing of L/O. Will address on next upload. If anyone needs the file, let me know. It also includes a bank of conventional for Cumberland, Adams, Perry.

Thanks, Brother. This is great.

Thanks again.

The only gaps in the DB are fire tac TG's for various townships. I IDed some recently (Swatera Ops for one). The problem is that they are used sparingly, only when the agency is on scene for the most part.

All the unENC pd tg's are ID'd, as well as the minicipal tg's and the unENC ems.

I have the following TGID's in may 96 but no tags:11803 - 11804 - 11808 - 11810 - 11815 - 11817 - 11822 as well as 21817 - 31071 - 31073 - 31075 - 31801 - 31802 - 31805 - 31808 - and 51031 - 51056. Some are ENC. some are not. These are where I thought the gaps would be in the DB.

ALL of the 118's are police department talkgroups used either by individual departments of special operations groups. They are 100% enc all the time. The only way we will tag those is to get our hands on a PD radio and do some testing... so those are going to stay blank..

All of the 310's are EMS enc talkgroups, 100% enc all the time. They are most likey EMS to hospital talkgroups to call in when en route, and are not going to be IDable.

I believe, and do not quote me, that 21817 is the ENC fire command tg, but I will have to check my notes to verify.

As for 51031 and 51056, I am not sure which township they blong to, but they are municipal talkgroups. I will do some research on those.

Thanks . I pass through the county a couple times a week . Seeing TG's pop up with no tag just bothers me a little. I'll get over it.

If I enter in the freq's for the TMI site, would I pick that up on the Lancaster/dauphin line around RT 283. When I go up to dauphin we visit people in middletown so the TMI site would be great as they are a stones throw away from it.

Yes tmi would give you some good traffic from that end but also program the simulcast freqs since that carries all the systems talkgrops and you will be able ti recieve both tmi and simulcast at your location

Anyone find TGs for HIA Fire and PD, or are they still using their own radios?
