Default Well....

Well, I'm looking at Bucks County now and it appears to be a Motorola II Smartzone, so are you actually entering it as a Mot/Motorola system?

I'm no 100% sure on how to program the Pro96, but I'm sure it would be a little similar to the BR330T.

I know on the BR330T, that system would be programmed under Mot system and UHF band.

Perhaps the Pro 96 does it that/this way also.

1. PGM>TRUNK then MODE to MOT
2. press FUNC + 2 and key in 501.0375 (Base freq) then press ENTER
3. key in Offset 380 then press ENTER
4. using UP or DOWN button set step to 25.0KHZ then press ENTER
5. press FUNC + 3 then UP or DOWN button to Table then press ENTER
6. press PGM and key in the first freq then press UP button
7. repeat step 6 until all required freqs are entered.

Press SCAN and insure a + is under the bank number until ID's have been programmed. If a - is present, press FUNC + 5 to change scan mode to Open (+).

This is a statement from RR Wiki regqrding V-Folders
Quote:
V (for 'Virtual') folders contain data for all 50 states loaded from the RadioReference database. However, several changes have occurred since the initial release of these scanners, but you can update them.
The newer scanners should have an update in V-Scanner which has the table set correctly for Bucks County.

No, only the trunking system.

If you intend to purchase a new Pro-96, you may want to consider a GRE PSR-500 instead. Both scanners are made by GRE and both sell for 500 bucks. PSR-500 has all new technology while the 96 technology is nearly 5 years old. The 500 needs to be ordered from scanner dealers...they are not stocked by Radio Shack

Program the red and blue freqs on the data page. If you only need the FD/EMS, use the two freqs for it and the talkgroups for that agency.

If you want Law, use the two reds and the blue and law talkgroups.

No on prestored freqs, the DB has been updated since V-Scanner files were made.

This is the freq list.
