Well, we had a couple of big ones unfortunately yesterday.

Fatal Single Motorcycle Accident On Turri Road | SLOStringer

On March 26, 2012 at approximately 11:15 am, a single male was riding a mid-nineties yellow and black Suzuki GSX750 Northbound on Turri Road from Los Osos Valley Road when he lost control of his motorcycle, leaving the roadway, coming to rest in a creekbed. A female witness was driving behind the rider and noticed the accident take place – she called 911 and attempted to render aid. Unfortunately, her efforts were to no avail – the rider succumbed to his injuries on scene after CPR was performed for over 25 minutes by emergency personnel. The witness reported that the rider turned onto Turri Rd. and began accelerating while “weaving all over the lane”, possibly doing what riders know as “warming up their tires”. It appears that one of the weaves may have been too aggressive, or for other unknown reasons the rider left the roadway through the mud and continued into the creek. CHP accident investigators were on scene along with Helicopter 70 for aerial photography. The motorcycle was currently registered to a local man identified as Dan R. Milligan, 59 of Los Osos, CA.

Two Sent To Hospital With Critical Injuries In San Luis Obispo | SLOStringer

Two males were transported to Sierra Vista Hospital with critical injuries Monday night after their small sedan collided with a building at the intersection of Madonna and Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo, coming to rest more than 50 feet from the point of impact. 11 San Luis Obispo Fire Department personnel worked with the Jaws of Life and other equipment for over half an hour to extricate the two individuals before being transported by San Luis Ambulance. San Luis Obispo Police Department is on scene investigating the cause of the collision. The building, housing San Luis Obispo Symphony offices, was occupied at the time but no one inside was hurt.

Nice photos everyone! I go out every once in a while and do some stringing on my days off. Here are some of my better photos.

A couple photos of a 2nd Alarm Brush Fire in Pasadena Maryland on April 9th.

My nephew (10 years old) took these photos with my camera while I was at the college.

Just found this thread. Here's a few pix I got after the Sikh shooting this past summer in Oak Creek, WI. These were taken right at the outside perimeter of the scene. Family was allowed closer, but this was as close as the general public could get and that perimeter was strictly enforced by police officers with very impressive guns!

As a professional photographer (Professional Photographers of Americal CPP and Master Craftsmen Photographer) and a firefighter/EMT-B I encourage everyone to obey the law, I take photos on scenes for our FD records and files, we use some for training, If you must take a photo of a patient blur the identity of that patient, Place a black box over the eyes or blur the face to protect the identity. I take a lot of photographs for the PD for evidence in cases and I am called to the stand to testify I am the photographer and that the photos are actual un altered pictures of what they depict. As far as taking them on scene use some taste and dont show the patients face or if it is for training take the time in photoshop to draw a black line across the eyes to conceal the identity. I spend two weeks in January attending and teaching for EPIC (evidence photographers international council)

Thanks for adding that part. After being the guy on the board once, I certainly wasn't in a position to ask someone to not take pictures of me.

I'm all for what you guys do, and I know a few people that are professional news cameramen. I used to do some of that stuff in my younger years, but I just couldn't stomach some of it.

great pictures!

Default 2-Alarm House Fire

These are few of the photos I shot on a crisp Saturday morning at a house fire. The house was vacant at the time of the fire.
