Default 2004 Mazda 3 UPDATE

Had a couple of requests for pics of where I trunk mounted my antennas. Here they are..

The tall one is an Antennex Dual VHF / UHF with a spring, and that goes to my Midland Syntec II VHF under the dash, and the 800 1/4 wave is a Maxrad that goes to my Pro97. And of course the XM antenna. Not much, but it gets the job done. Hope you guys like em !!!

Plus 5 for the guts to drill holes in a nice car!

Man, that Syntec sure is small!

How's the performance with that 800mhz quarter-wave? Can you compare it to what you previously had (mag mount?)? Do you listen to anything but 800 on it? If so, how does that work out for you?

Thanks for the replies !!! As far as reception with the 1/4 wave 800, it is excellent. Actually receives better than a regular 800 whip.
