Default My Modest Canadian Listening Post

From my 14 th floor Apt. here in Toronto Ontario. I'm able to monitor, the Greater Toronto Area. Durham, York, Peel, Halton Regional, Toronto, Hamilton. Also Buffalo NY area.

Model cop cars and scanners, very nice collection.

That is a cool setup!

Apartment dwelling in a tall building definitely has it's advantages. Friends of mine live 13 floors up in town and, when visiting with a scanner, I can hear signals loud and clear that can't be heard at home. The only problem is that the building favours the west facing direction, with signals toward the east poor at best due to the side of the building they live on.
Nice to get an antenna on the roof- but they have another 17 floors above them!

Here are photo's from the balcony, SSE & SSW direction.
I have line of sight to 3 Communication Towers here in Tor. Not far from Lake Ontario.
strength 5 with out any antenna to receive Toronto Towers.
