Default Friday Night Shack Ops

Friday nights are my favorite time of the week to sit back and monitor the radios. I normally fire up the radios, clean off the desk and put on a pot of coffee. I’m always guaranteed some kid of excitement as the night continues. Besides, all the lights look really cool at night,

That's cool! Now you need to get the back lit keyboard and some LED's to go up under the desk!

The keyboard is back lit, it's just hard to tell. The LED's sound cool.

That's a very cool looking setup and I've always wished I could find a backlit keyboard that doesn't have those awkward flat keys.

That's a very nice looking setup you have there.

I wish mine looked that good with the lights out.

That would explain his need for a pot of coffee!

Yet another change. I need to free up some desk space since I was getting back into Flight Simulator so I mounted my radios to my lower shelf and added external speakers. The radios are slightly above eye level and easy to read. I don’t know about some of the reviews I’ve read but the Radio Shack external speakers have a pretty good sound to them. When I just used the internal speakers, I had a hard time telling which radio was receiving since they were so close together. After adding the externals I’m able to tell.
