Here is my little set up i have going.
Pic 1 are my two antenna i have on a mic stand, as i am in an apt and can't have anything mounted outside. Works well for me like this.
Pic 2 are my scanners. GRE PSR 500 and an ICOM IC-PCR1500. I use the 1500 to run unitrunker
Pic 3 this is a 20" monitor i have attached to my laptop so i can monitor unitrunker and the 1500 software.

I like the idea of the antennas on the mic stand. Being in an apartment that won't allow me to mount anything outside either, I know how sometimes you have to think outside the box.
