Default Mancave Command Center UPADTED!!!

So I bought a new piece of desk and decided to re-arrange things (again) so let me know what you think:

Moved monster computer over, added shelves/scanner rack:

Added a couple Pro 163's:

Probably no more mods for a while, the wife is getting kinda irritated. And I quote:

"I went into the mancave last night went to turn your scanner off and when I got in the mancave I was soo confused, there was like 6 scanners...soo many choices! Where did they all come from? What happened to just 2?"

I get the same thing. But sometimes when I'm away from the scanner, she tells me what's going on. Today she asked me to email her audio at work after she read a news article.

Default Clean

That is a nice clean setup. Plus I like the desk gives you plenty of room for everything.

Get one of those big *** mushroom buttons, wire it to kill power to the scanners.
Don't forget to wire in a keyswitch override though... just in case you wanna keep listening!

Label it... affectionately.. "The Wife Button"

Yep! Nice and neat. Looks good.

The shelving really suits the radio sizes well.
Three screens! One for the third eye?

Regards, Commscanaus.

Very nice shack. The only thing I would change is probably get a bit more sturdy chair. Something I can lean back in, prop the feet up, and not worry about falling out of it.

3rd screen is actually a TV, soon to display security cameras as an option.

I'm in the market for a new chair. I can lean back in it, but the back rest kinda just sways wherever is pleases.

Best Buy. Open box special was like 40 bucks.

Just got a new desk. Will hope to have new pics soon.

Default Very nice look, organized.

I like it. Gives me some good ideas on what to do for mine. I'm also looking for a new scanner, one that can potentially monitor/scan all different systems. We have here (Colorado Denver area) mostly DTRS P25 digital trunking systems, 700, 800, 400 bands etc. Any particular recommendations on one that will be able to "do-it-all"?
Thanks!
Tuna
