You do know that you're going to need a CEB (Central Electronics Bank) at least 2 racks tall worth of stuff just to interface that to one radio, right?

If you want plug-and-play you need a command plus.

You sure about that? I have seen one similar to this setup back in west virginia and all they had was the console and some little 1 inch by 1 inch boards interfaced to some kenwood and vertex mobiles.

the board they had looked just like this one. I think you may be confusing this one with the big floor standing Dispatch consoles. the one i am getting is a desktop.

but we will find out when it gets here as it has a manual.

If i can't use it i will re sell it.

They made a full and a "compact" (like you have there) however they still interface to the radio the same way; it's not any smaller of a process because the console is smaller .

does the command plus look similar to the compact centracom 2? if so then that may be what they had.

they definately did not have anything near what you describe. I have seen a central electronics bank here in hunterdon county hooked up to big centracom consoles.

as stated it will probably be up for sale if i can't use it or fabricate some kind of interface for it.

Then can I come over and play?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Goot luck with the Centracom. Used to use one in my past life as a dispatcher.

The CommandPLUS and the Compact Centracom are both built on the same chassis, so they're the same size. Somewhat similar looking front layout. You would need a TNA200 or equiv. to interface to a radio. (or whatever if your application is tone, dc, etc)

if you want to do stand alone you need a command plus and TONE or DC remote adapters like Astro25 stated, i have had one for a while but right now it is sitting in storage. Once i move into my new house i cant wait to set it up here is an old pic from these boards i posted a long time ago....
