Default Got around to it

Finally got around to cleaning the shack. Thought I'd post before it returns back to the usual state of disrepair.

Equipment from top to bottom: Radio Shack 2006 w/ OS 456, 3 Radio Shack 2045's w/ PL boards,
two Uniden 780xlt's, Midland Weather alert, one Uniden 996t, one Uniden BCT15, one Uniden BC 760xlt, On the desk Icom IC-R700, Motorola CDM 1250 UHF and Motorola Maxtrac VHF. Various handhelds

Very nice collection..i have a VHF maxtrac also and it's very sensitive...the 996t does a good job on Westmoreland co P25 radio system, I now use a Plectron alert monitor for a weather radio..great audio but it only decodes the 1050hz long tone for ALL counties, no same technology.

That's exactly what the 996 is used for, and does a great job. The VHF Maxtrac is pretty much dedicated to DCNR / Forestry. The Plectrons are excellent monitors as are the Motorola Alert monitors. I have one on fire dispatch, works perfect.
