Default New vehcle new setup

Hey all, Sold my big diesel and bought something different, thought I would share some pics.

I currently do not have an antenna on the vehicle, probably going to go with a Comet lip mount on the tail gate, with a 29 inch antenna.

Vehicle: 1999 Dodge Durango, 4x4, 5.2 V8.

Equipment: Yaesu 1802m, Federal Signal SW400 switch box, Federal Signal Highlighter, Code 3 siren, LED dash lights front and rear.

Nice set up and nice color on the truck. You should not have any problems being seen on a call with your emergency lights and siren in operation.

Look at the license plate... The dealer he apparently purchased the vehicle from is "Rick James" -- and, at least in the U.S., Rick James was a well-known artist of the 70s/80s era and had a song out called "Super Freak"

That Durango looks to be in very nice shape for a 10-year-old vehicle. Nice find.

Just FYI, putting temporary tags inside the vehicle like that is illegal. License plates including temporary tags need to be lighted. Troopers will pull you over for that.

I never got the point of putting 30 day tags on the inside of the car anyways. They are robust enough to survive the elements for 30 days.
