The main reason my wife is okay with all this gear in our kitchen - is A: she likes listening too - always has and B: It's a major part of my income. I string for the local and national news media as a source and a photographer. I'm always "Johnny on the spot" when it comes to breaking news.
In my car I have a BC-15X (buried in the dash) a CB and MIDLAND GMRS rig/GPS and my VHF Motorola two-way for storm spotting - only place I don't listen is in the bathtub - but I'm working on that!

Kitchcom updated
New updated photo of KITCHCOM showing a few new radios (one for streaming to RR) and my night -time scanning lighting scheme. I like surfing the web and the airwaves late at night .. and yes that is a D revision.

I just don't think I have seen a kitchen like that. The closest I can get is a handheld sitting on the counter while I do dishes.

Wow! Looks like a place I could spend a lot of time. If I had a husband who wanted a sweet set-up like that in the kitchen, I'd be doing what I could to make sure it happened! I can't even set it up for my own use as I share a kitchen with 2 others. hahaha.

You have one of the most awesome shacks I have ever seen! I love the picture with the blacklight!
By the way, I have the same " Airplane Pilot on Duty" metal picture!
