Looks more like an H3 to me (My wife has one).

And the antenna is mounted on the drivers side of the hood, just forward of the raised part in front of the windsheild.

None the less, install looks good! A low pro NMO MLPV (or whatever) woulda blended into the roof, but still a very clean install.

You should turn off "Global Attenuate" setting on the Pro-197

Hey Bonez01, nice setup !

PS~ I was lQQking at your Pro-107's display and noticed the Capital "G"
meaning that the "Global Attenuate" is still set on as the factory sets it
for whatever reason they we need 20db of attenuation globally turned on ?
Most folks would simply turn off Global Attn by pressing "Func" + "ATT" keys !
Sooo later on, if and ONLY if you have a bothersome frequency programmed in
THEN you could flip on "ATT/Attenuate" for JUST THAT frequency ~ how's that ;)
One frequency that is a particular problem on most of my scanners and falsely opens
up is 243.000 AM Air Emergency UHF ~ so I edit that object to have just it's ATT on.
Therefore this channel behaves itself, besides I hope by having the VHF 121.500 AM
Air Emergency also programmed in will do the trick the few times I ever heard it, etc.

antenna

why dont you just use your stereo antenna...thats what i do and works perfect. just use a y connector and put proper connectors on it. Plus, doesn't show additional antenna.

Thanks Michael-SATX for the info.
