It's currently setup in the Fusion using the GPS with a range of 0 as recommended in numerous forums . It works very well changing/updating the scan list as I drive. My commute is 43 miles each way and it does a great job adding/removing/changing agencies based on my geolocation to/from work.

Re: bouncing/vibration see videos below. You can see the RAM + HP-1 vibrate over bumps. Both videos shot handheld with an iPhone 5, so it wasn't the most stable shooting platform but comparing both videos you can see the difference.

Video 1 Secondary bumpy road, speeds 35-40MPH

Video 2 Highway @ highway speeds. Very smooth very little to no vibration.

Awesome, thanks for the videos! Looks like it moves around quite a bit.

No problem. Bumpy roads, yes. Smooth roads & highways, very stable with little to no vibration. I hope the videos don't misrepresent/exaggerate the movement.

I did a little power cord management using a Satechi 4-way power socket extender. Mounts with strong 3M adhesive tape, rotates, and has power switches for each socket. To top it off, the black and silver color complements the Fusion's interior and the blue leds match the Fusion's LCD instrument panels.
