Default Work Station / Shack

Hey guys wanted to show you my work station/shack , I am a National Weather service Springfield Aux via 2 Meter radio , Includes live updates , Watches , Warnings, Storm & Damage reports and also dispatch out our spotters .

One is a Comet , Not sure of the model as it were given to me


This is a home built one with 300 MHZ Braided Tv Antenna and a cap inside the pvc

Nice antenna setup,the Comet antenna looks like the Comet GP6.

Thanks for pointing that out , I asked the guy who gave it to me if that is what it was , and he said yes , It was from the Titanic 100 year anniversary Speacial event in Branson MO this last month !

The person bought it at that event? Did that event have something to do with radios?

The Antenna was bought for the event , and yes it was a field day type of thing , I will try to find more info , But it was given to me by the group that bought it for the special event
