2013 Tahoe build. SSV - PPV - 5W4

Sorry for the delay in posting. We have had some mechanical issues with a few of our trucks. These issues have pulled me away from the Tahoe. GPS, backup camera & laptop/tablet installed well. Lighting is complete with the exception of 2 on the rear quarters that I am waiting on brackets for. Also still waiting on the command box for the rear & for the state radios to arrive. Once the command box comes, I will get to work on the Kenwood TK5710, dual head, 100 watt. I will also install the handheld radios, inverter & blue tooth mobile printer.

Whether you mean to or not, it looks a lot like mine! Is it simply form following function or is this developed blindly and in parallel? If so then I am honored that we are of like mind.

Lets just call it like minds! It would be a lie to say I have not looked at every post & picture on your thread. There really is not that many choices on these things. Even Jotto vs Havis, ect.... They all look about the same. Thank you for sharing so much on your build, between that & you answering questions, our build has been much easier.

Sharing ideas is the entire premise of my thread and I have learned a lot more than I have given in this forum, that's why I like it so much. My pleasure to help other builders and departments, we are all on the same team.

I have considered the lights on the running boards, this may have put me over the edge on that. Can I suggest some LEDs in the tail lights?

Thanks! I had a flasher for the tail lights but I was unhappy with how "universal" it was & decided against it. I do plan to add something due to the fact that when the rear hatch is open there is no rear facing light. I have been looking at the covert LED kit for the rear tail lights. Here is the link;

Our dept chief has a Tahoe like this and had led flashers installed on underside of back hatch. They are somewhat visible when hatch is closed and when open they are extremely visible . I will try to get some pics when I go back to work Monday

Notice it says "video of the lights so far". I am still awaiting 2 more lights to arrive so I can tie all the lights together for syncing. The video was shot with my cell phone. We run red & blue here so other than the poor video quality, not sure where you are getting purple. Once I get the last 2 luminators installed, all of them will be in sync with each other with the exception of the light bar & it will probably remain on random.

looks good. I just picked up a 2013 tahoe, which is a slicktop. Leds in the front and rear glass, grill and on the running boards similar to you, but all whelen lights. Your truck is set up very well, especially in the front console. I like the storage on the side...that is extremely handy for holding small items that don't need to be locked inside a storage bin. Keep up the good work!

Sorry once again for the delay in posting. We have been very busy & my time on the tahoe has been limited. We finally received the radios for the MOSWIN system & got them installed. Command box is in & finishing touches are being done now. Pictures will be coming soon!
