Apartment 'Shack'
Figured I'd share my apartment 'shack'. This is a temporary setup so forgive the rabbit ear antennas just behind the scanners.
Left to right on bottom:
22" Acer LCD connected to Quad Core, 8GB, 1TB custom desktop and gateway desktop used for streaming
15.6" Asus UL50 laptop
Philips External Soundcard (silver)
(4) Uniden Bearcat BC 560XLT scanners
Uniden Bearcat BC350A scanner
Motorola GP68 Charger (GP68 not pictured)
10.1" Samsung Galaxy 2 Tab
Left to right on top:
Pro-106 Scanner
Vertex VX-354 (fire department)
Midland WX Radio
Motorola Minitor 5 (fire department)
VHF GE MDX
Acer TravelMate
Pro-94 Scanner
Wouxun KGUVD1P (not pictured)
Enjoy!

Kyle that is a nice setup. Although where are the HF radio(s) and the amateur gear?

Thanks! Haha still working on HF, the GE MDX is my VHF Base that's about all I operate on here at home. Should be renting a house here shortly with a few friends of mine so I can finally get some outdoor antennas setup, excited to start experimenting more with that. Most of my amateur stuff is mobile, I'm big into 2M, 70cm and 33cm right now.

Good looking setup, Kyle, and thanks for showing us. Let's see the antenna setup when you get that done outside, please?

I am like you, all my stuff is mobile. I have a 2M setup in the garage, but my dual band is in the car. Trying to save the money for an inexpensive rig such as a used 706 or similar to help encourage me to upgrade to General.
My biggest problem is the CCR's that don't allow the antennas. So I have a home brew antenna in the garage for the Alinco, but that is limiting as I live in an RF Hole. Again nice setup.

Most definitely, hopefully will be getting out of this apartment before too terribly long so I can setup some outdoor stuff. Won't be anything crazy as I'll be renting again, but much easier to set those up on a house vs apartment.

I'm sure I'll do a little bit of it all, don't have anything HF currently, still a 'noob' to that side

Yea if you take a look at my shack photos, I'm a 'mobile enthusiast' I guess you could say. I used to work for a vehicle outfitter before I moved to the PD so I love working on vehicles and installing equipment, definitely my bread and butter. I'll hop to HF one of these days, still have PLENTY to learn though.

Thanks! It's a GE MDX that I saved from being thrown away, works great on HAM bands.
