Default The Mobile Setup

Here is the latest update of my mobile setup. I built the mounting box myself for another car, I used to have. It has three switches, two DC sockets, and a flush mounted mobile speaker on each side. I would like to redo it but I just don't have the time. I now added the Computer mount and computer for GPS (useful for running Indecent command) and Radar for storm spotting.

Kenwood TK-5710 (Digital)
Yeasu FT-8900
RS Pro-197
Stream-Light Strion LED

Antennas
Front - Laird 150/450/800 Antenna (scanner)
Rear - Comet Dual Band 2m/70cm - SBB2NMO (FT-8900) (Sometimes use the Comet 2m SBB-25NMO Gain: 4.1 dBi)
Antennex 1/4 wave 150Mhz (Kenwood)

Thumbs up That's extreme

and nicely done! Parking on a dark country road with that light show running should make it impossible to not be seen. Great job on the video also!

Yes, the LEDs help alot, most of the time I am sitting on a county road or even interstate highway shutting it down due to an accident or other indecent.

Question Did you watch the video?

If you did, you'd see it's a big Buick. Park Avenue or LeSabre perhaps. That's one of a few that will accomodate a lot of radio gear in the front of the seat.

I didn't recognise what kind of car that was. I thought it was a Dodge or something.

Good install, I like the fact you drilled holes for antennas. I did same in my old 2000 Lesabre and fit a 9 inch console in the car.

Aren't you afraid that someone is gonna break in and steal all your equipment? Or do people think it's a cop car and don't mess with it?

Well that's who I bought it from, for the price($400), mileage(125,000), power(300Hp supercharged), and gas mileage(25-28mpg) I couldn't pass it up. Plus the huge trunk.

I am not too worried about that since I am in a rural area, but I do remove the Laptop when I travel to an area that would be of concern, or when not needed. I also have insurance on all the equipment through my business.
