Volunteer Fire Setup so far
Here is my volunteer firefighting setup as of now. I have yet to install the lights and siren but the scanner is in and ready to go. Thought I would share on a video. Sorry if the filming is bad I did it on my iPhone.

What are the rules for lights and sirens as a volunteer where you are from?

From Missouri, and you have to pass a series of driving tests. Lights have to be blue and white.

And you can have a siren as well? Wow. In PA, only Chiefs can use sirens (red lights required). Blue lights are courtesy lights only...no requirement to yield.

Yeah we can use sirens freely. Blue lights are what all firefighters use but the lieutenants use blue/red lights.

who cares, if he says you can use lights and sirens so be it. I believe all 50 states are online with their DMV laws.

The reason I mention it is because every time someone posts a picture or talk about lights and sirens someone has to question it!!!!
Stay safe
