Isn't much yet but just getting started. Never had this many units at once. Don't know what to do.

Word of advice, if your batteries are full on the Uniden handheld: disconnect the AC adapter. Wait until it's almost dead then re-charge.

How / Why do you use multiple scanners with just one set of ears? :)

Each scanner can catch things that others miss, especially when multiple groups are involved in an incident. Setting one scanner for each group's normal operating frequencies will enable you to tune in on more than just relying on one scanner could ever hope to catch.

Each scanner is dedicated to just one or two systems, groups, organizations or frequencies. It took a little "training," but I can now pretty much 'zone in' on just one transmission even when more than one scanner is receiving.
