Default 2017 Ram 3500 Radio Deck

Here is my install in my Ram 3500.

Xtl2500 800/700
BCD596
Xpr5500e uhf
Xpr5500e vhf
CB (for construction sites)

Antennas are just 1/4 wave antennas for the Xpr's, Typical 800/700 gain antennas for the Xtl and BCD. The CB has a loaded whip that I only install when the radio is required.

Me, too. I don't think I'd seen them on XPRs before until now.

The center jump seat is very easy to remove. Took it out of mine and used the mounting brackets to hold a piece of 3/4” plywood to which the console is secured.

Yes I know, that’s what I did in my RAM1500

But in my 2500 center console goes pretty much front to back with front portion lowered for manual 4x4 shifter

I think I may be able to use smallest 9”x9” RAM box console there , but just waiting for now and maybe see different ideas.

Thank you! Its a Gamber-Johnson 9" with a rack mount that bolts to the center console floor bolts.

Here is mine. The light and power port panel has been replaced with a 900 Spectra.

For Uhf and Vhf DMR for both Amateur bands and commercial. Also used for IMT communications if needed.
