Keep it under your hat. Typical and disturbing.

So, by definition, the blog is useless as a reliable source of information.

The only thing that comes out as obvious to me is, some people will stoop pretty low to smear others with lies and rumors. And by posting a link to a blog that, in your own words contains examples that "aren't true, others not vetted", you can count yourself among those doing the stooping.

This is a classic example of how the right (you) is alienating independents (me), who want nothing to do with mud slinging, lies, propaganda, and rumors.

Come up with some verifiable facts, and I'll listen.

The problem is all presidents are liars. They lie to you and tell you what you want to hear; no matter how much a stretch of the truth it is. If the president was up front with the nation and told us the truth, told us all the cold hard facts about how the economy sucks and isn't getting any better, etc; then that president would not likely be re-elected. Instead they all say, "hey, everything is going to be fine if you vote for me". And again, the U.S hasn't had an honest president in well over 70 years. And where we are at today, and the direction this country is heading, should be no surprise given the level of incompetence and ineptitude of our government magnified by a dumbed-down and pussified citizenry (for the most part) compared to our ancestors.

"And again, the U.S hasn't had an honest president in well over 70 years."
A gross underestimate, the Revolution was fought over tax issues so what does our very first president do? Washington instated the very first tax, on alcohol, tobacco and firearms and started The Whiskey Rebellion as a result. Then "honest" Abe Lincoln must have told the biggest lie in history at the close of his Gettysburg Address, truth is government of the people by the people and for the people never existed on the face of the Earth.

"And where we are at today, and the direction this country is heading, should be no surprise given the level of incompetence and ineptitude of our government magnified by a dumbed-down and pussified citizenry (for the most part) compared to our ancestors."
Just a bit of a half truth there, I can't speak for the level of competence in government at any time but I can say they thought themselves competent and the voting public incompetent at the start. They were right you know, the ruling elite have always been well educated while the peasant farmers they ruled never saw the inside of a school and were by and large illiterate. Why do you think the electoral process was set up to make all the selections save for the last up to the government leaving us to chose one out of two? Why do you think the Electoral College exists? Should the government decide the public has made the wrong choice they have the power to overturn popular vote, right?

Bottom line here is government thinks it is smart and the public is stupid. Nanny is old, very old, in fact she is ancient. She's been around long before the USA was a glimmer in a protester's eye and as old as civilization itself. While some masters are better than others masters and slaves always were, are and ever shall be so get used to it. Now shut up and feed the hogs.
