Fact, he will not win in 2012 or 2016 and the only respect and support he will get is from the people who wasted their votes on him.

Fact: k3hy and the "side" he is on, want undecideds to waste their vote on gary johnson because the race is so tight, that in doing so, obama will be a shoe-in via the massive Hispanic voter block he has amassed and the racial divisiveness he has achieved. In short, gotta keep the middle class white votes like me off romney.
I bet ya k3hy aint voting for johnson-and he sure aint voting for romney either. How do I know this? Find ONE post where k3hy has said anything critical about obama anywhere.

If you look on Huffington Post and other liberal web sites, you'll see his hate posts against Romney and the Republician Party. I can't tell you how many times I have seen his posts on Romney being a traitor and hiding in France during the Vietnam War. He'll be voting for obama. If obama wins this election, he'll be one of the first to cry that his life (country) has changed in a year or two.
I have a list of the obama backers that post here, we'll see if they feel the same way down the road if he wins. No need for a Johnson list, he has no chance in hell of winning.
I know, I know, who is Gary Johnson.

Steve,
You believe in Romney's campaign so your vote for him is not wasted.
I believe in Gary Johnson's campaign so my vote for him is not wasted.
Voting for the candidate one feels is best suited for the job is the foundation
of our government. As long as someone has done research on the candidates
and believes in their candidates platform a vote for a candidate is never "wasted".
I will be able to sleep at night peacefully knowing that I have voted for who I thought
in my heart and soul was the best person for the job. Therefore my vote will be just
as important as any other cast this election.

I respect that (even though I know you aren't responding to me ) but it kinda reminds me of the time we went to SoCal on vacation and I just HAD to see the Spruce Goose and Queen Mary so we get to the parking lot where all the tour busses are-one for Universal Studios; one for Knottsberry Farm, one for Hollywood Tours, one for Spruce Goose/Q Mary. The kids went to the Universal Studios one. Every other bus had a big crowd of folks anywhere from 30-maybe 70..EXCEPT for the Spruce Goose bus where me&Rosie were two of about 8 people lol can you imagine the look she was giving me. Man they still give me crap about that to this day lol

I too respect someones choice in voting for a 'third party' candidate. But the truth is...
[Quoting from the book "American Goverment and Politics Today, 2008-2009" -
Schmidt, Steffen W., Shelley, Mack C., Bardes, Barbara A (2008). Wadsworth Publishing Company.]
"... third parties are built around an ideology which is at odds with the majority mindset, many members belong to such a party not for the purpose of expecting electoral success but rather for personal or psychological reasons." "Third parties don't affect American politics by winning elections, but they can act as "spoilers" by taking votes from one of the two major parties."
I guess I'm gonna have to do a Google search on Gary...!? ... Gary Who?

I believe that the fault will remain with Congressional dynamic inertia. If Gov. Romney wins but does not carry one or more of the chambers' majority, the Damnocraps will pull the Harry Reid gambit against him.
I recognize the fact that our founding fathers designed our bicameral legislature to hold the majority of power rather than the Judicial or Executive branches (read the Constitution fully). This was before the 20th Century "Age of Imperial Presidencies". In those days (or at least most of the time) our elected officials made an effort to listen to their constituency. I do not feel that our legislators are capable of compromise - only the continuance of their partisan and self-serving nose-thumbing at the other party. Further, so long as both parties have extremist sub-groups, the congressional leadership is incapable of establishing any uniformity and self control or direction within their own side of the aisle - let alone daring to extend a hand (Horrors - I need a shot) across the aisle. Until the ultra-liberals and teabaggers join the human race, (unlikely) no good will come from the next congressional session - the ideologies are too far apart and the members too petty for meaningful compromise to solve the looming financial abyss and other critical issues. As usual, the American people will be the loser as we slide down the path to financial, operational, and social chaos. Rather than blindly signing my name as a member of any party or single ideology, I take the minority view of self thought and voting my conscience. The stated platforms of either party hold abhorent stands that are unworthy of independant thought. I'd better get off my soapbox before I get slammed by some one-track minded party hack/shill. (No Bob, that does not mean you)
Third party voting offers no well-thought out philosophy or plan of action ( or significant power base beyond their limited adherents.. That's why there are often so many "independant: candidates on our ballots. At least the Skinheads did not get enough signatures to be on this years "best guess" list.

They probably get the idea that their constituents are not interested in compromise. Use of terms such as "Damnocraps" and "Republicants" are a symptom of a deep ideological divide. It shows a lack of respect and tolerance for diverse ideas. With a constituency like that, it seems unreasonable to me to expect our legislators to do anything other than behave accordingly - that is, no compromise. They are giving us what we deserve... nothing.

Do you think that... Back in the day, the elected officals 'better' served their constituents because they- 'the citizen' typically open carried side arms ?

Where did you get the idea that the citizens typically open carried side arms?

Your correct, I was just being desipient. Throughout our history there have been varying laws controlling the carrying of weapons, Guns and Knifes. Today, more than anytime in our history, it is easier to obtain and legally carry a weapon by the law abiding citizen. Edit- except in your state

I agree zz...people who reduce themselves to all the name calling and political backbiting are nothing but immature neanderthals. I for one would never refer to those leftist Marxist zombies as Damnocraps! How rude! (I don't mean you Bruce.) lol.

You joke, but I'm serious. How can we expect Congress to function, when functioning is based on compromise and communication, and the rest of the nation has lowered itself to sophomoric name calling?
WE are the cause of all our problems, more so than Congress or whatever President we happen to have at the moment, and it's not going to get better unless debate over the problems occurs at a more mature and practical level.
American morals and values are deteriorating, and while the religious right blames it on the left and on a lack of religious lifestyles. I'd like to remind you that you're the one doing the sophomoric name calling, not me.
So, I see you as part of the problem, not part of any solution.

"How can we expect Congress to function, when functioning is based on compromise and communication, and the rest of the nation has lowered itself to sophomoric name calling?"
How can we expect Congress to function, when it has lowered itself to sophomoric name calling? There, that's closer to the truth.
"WE are the cause of all our problems, more so than Congress or whatever President we happen to have at the moment, and it's not going to get better unless debate over the problems occurs at a more mature and practical level."
Congress critters are the cause of all our problems, more so than whatever President we happen to have at the moment, and it's not going to get better unless debate over the problems occurs at a more mature and practical level. Again that looks better.
"American morals and values are deteriorating, and while the religious right blames it on the left and on a lack of religious lifestyles."
American (insert office here) candidates' morals and values are deteriorating, and while the religious right blames it on the left and on a lack of religious lifestyles. See? I could have said it better myself.
