You just helped me win a bet.

It was just Tuesday night when the election returns were coming in, Obama was declared the winner, and I proclaimed to my wife that now the whack jobs would come out of the woodwork claiming that it was all rigged. She said "No, no one would be stupid enough to believe that".

I said "Wanna bet?"

The finally tally will be of academic interest, but nothing that happens in Florida will change the outcome of the election. Not with the electoral votes, and probably not with the popular votes.

Mitt Romney’s campaign conceded Florida, giving Obama a final tally of 332 Electoral College votes — far more than the 270 needed to win. Romney finished with 206 electoral votes.

Dude111. Are you for real. As an impartial observer of the US election it appears that the idea of a Democracy is only acceptable if the vote goes your way. Considering the USA is encouraging other countries to change to Democracies it's rather ironic. Before anyone should suggest that any non US members should not comment, may I remind you that your elections do affect the rest of the world and that is why we are still trying to clean up the mess that George W Bush created.

I have no problem with hearing comments from 'auslanders', but for you to think for just one minute that the U.S. government is any less corrupt than yours or any others, you are sadly mistaken. Have you heard of Benghazi, Libya?

By the way, what mess did Bush create for Australia?

That depends,If they only get MSNBC or CBS down under they very well may have never even heard about Benghazi. If you want to talk about something being rigged its the liberal bias news media in this country!

If they think they have a mess left by Bush, wait, they haven't seen nothing yet. If obama/Congress don't change and things remain as they were for the last four years, they maybe cleaning up until the kangaroos can fly.

I was talking to an old friend in California the other day and almost fell off my chair when she mentioned she'd never heard of Benghazi. Apparently it doesn't make the news much out there. In all fairness, she’s not much of a political junkie, but you’d still think it’d be mentioned by the local news.

There is no shortage of news about Benghazi in California. Your friend just isn't paying attention.

Question

"Reinforce the view that Florida just doesn't do elections like the rest of the country. "
"What's wrong with Florida when it comes to voting?"

The fact that Romney campaign was run by the cronies from the failed George W Bush regime like Karl Rove and Dick Cheney would have resulted in the same failed policies of the George W Bush regime.
The George W Bush stink is going to last at least a generation.

So I guess it's the fault of George Bush for providing tax cuts that are getting ready to expire?

How interesting that we had less than 5% unemployment when "W" was in office and things only started to go downhill when the dems took control of the houses in '06. That happened mostly because of the anti war business(a war we didn't start but I digress). So who is Obama going to blame for the last 4 years now? Fact is, the Democrats are going to blame Bush for everything that goes wrong for the next generation or until we get another Republican president then they'll blame him.

Is it possible she does not get Fox News in her area of the world?

So instead we are now stuck with the failed policies of the Obama regime and his cronies for another four years. Oh boy aren't we lucky!
