UHF Apco25 Radio
Hey guys, I am looking for a decent Handheld UHF radio that can be programmed for both conventional channels & P25 channels. I dont have much experience with the P25 area so what radios would you recommend?

How many channels do you need? The /\/\ xts1500 is a nice plain jane radio that comes with either no display or with a limited display (model 1.5)

Open market pricing is around $1K.

How about an EF Johnson 5100? Those look like really good radios.

Icom IC-F80DT! - the icoms have the easiest software around! and it's actually readily available for less than half of what the XTS CPS would cost
