Surveillance mode

Hello every boby.

I want to know what could be the best use of the feature surveillance mode in XTS Motorola radios.

Its used for any agency officers that are in close proximity to their intended surveillance targets.
Once enabled via cps it turns off key beeps/bonks and the display & keypad back lights so as not
to give away the surveillance officers proximity to the target.

Of course watching the guy take the radio off his side to press the button to turn the key beep and back light off would be my first clue something is up =p
