Default Provoice On Conventional VHF???

:? :? :? :? :?

Just wondering if anyone has heard Provoice on Conventional VHF?

Franklin County, Illinois has a VHF link frequency of 155.7300 between their three PSAP dispatch centers.

The frequency uses digital modulation and it sounds exactly like Provoice by Ma/Com.

Does Ma/Com make conventional Provoice radios? I was under the impression that Provoice was only available for trunking.

Any comments??? Anyone???

ProVoice is available in both Trunking and Conventional, and it is quite possible that ProVoice is being used on VHF... they do have radios that support it.

Interesting....
