Question Digital Trunking question

Just wondering at the beginning of each digital transmission how long is the digital sound suppose to be there for?

Thank You.

Shouldn't be there at all.

Of course, it depends on what radio you're talking about and how you've set it up.

Since we don't have that information, we can't answer your question.

I have a BCD996T.

I think I might have set it up wrong but I not sure.

On the 996T you can set the frequencies or talkgroups up as digital which should get rid of any noise.

You can also play with the P25 waiting time as well.
