Default RENIR/Outaouais

Found a new CC which must be close to Gatineau...141.570, Site 2 082.

Activity on W. Quebec sites appears to be MTQ from the TG 31250-31253
31217, etc. which are mostly not listed but in the same range...enc. of course.

It is good to see somebody has added some VC data to Site 2-082, and added the
adjacent site 152.915 CC (which I heard earlier N/NW of Gatineau, when mobile).
I am mostly on the Ottawa side so have not narrowed down the location of 141.570 CC,
but it is not strong in downtown Ottawa.

Also note, Calumet 2-079 CC has moved from 153.185 to 164.820 (has been there for
several months).

Does anyone know of a good tool which can draw a network map i.e. if you feed it
with site numbers and neighbours (figures out interconnect topology)? If it can overlay
on a map, great, but even if not, would be useful. I suppose one could draw this by hand,
but it's not a terribly complex algorithm.

Hi DaveH,

I submitted the new info for the site 2-082. I always try to run Pro96 once and a while to see new update.

Now not sure where located the site 2-087, will run more test on the weekend.

I would also love to see a program that could draw the map for all the towers, not sure if it exist.

regards,

Marc

I did Fleetnet Zone 1 by hand drawing towers in where locations were known along with neighbour lists.

This helped figure out missing towers and a general area where the tower might be found.

Dave, i also have picked up the Control Channel 141.570. I am east of ottawa.
its about 2 of 5 in signal strength. I don't know if that helps for pinpointing location
Perhaps some others on the Gatineau, or MRC de colline, could add some assistance
